Gov Evers announced further restrictions this week designed to slow the spread of Covid-19 that includes a shelter in place order, closure of non-essential businesses, and prohibition of travel except for going to and from essential or emergency services.  Accordingly, we are talking the following steps:

1.  The church office is closed for the duration of this crisis.  Pastor Ken and the Deacons are available for counseling and prayer by phone. Pastor Ken’s number is 715-541-2122

2.  The order permits the church to be open for religious gatherings of less than 10 people.  Accordingly, we plan to continue live-streaming our Sunday morning service as we did last week.  To watch visit our YouTube channel at: https://tinyurl.com/EastBalsamBaptist

3.  Meetings of teams and committees are encouraged to continue using Zoom or other communication platforms. Contact Sarah Bowers for use of the churches Zoom subscription.

4.  Friends may still help those in need of groceries, pharmacy items and other essentials.  If you, or someone you know, is in need of such support, please contact Pastor Ken or one of the Deacons.

Please continue to pray for health and safety of our church family.  In addition, please pray that our communities, state, and nation would turn their hearts towards God in this time of crisis.”

Blessings to you,
East Balsam Baptist Leadership
