If you attend our church sometime, it won’t be long until you hear the word “gospel.” The gospel is what drives us as a church to gladly spend our lives in service and worship of God. But what exactly is it?
Well simply put, the gospel is the good news that Jesus has secured salvation for you through His work alone. It is the story of redemption. The story of grace. The story of a grand homecoming. God’s runaway children have been brought back home by Jesus Himself.
This means that the pressure’s off! Jesus has done all the work for you. Sound too good to be true? It is. It’s a miracle. And that’s why God gets all the glory. If you join us on a Sunday, you can expect to be reminded of this good news again and again.
Everything wrong you have ever done has been paid for by Jesus. And everything good that Jesus has done has been given to you as a free gift. That’s a reason to worship!
