Sunday School Classes
East Balsam offers Sunday School classes for all ages. Classes meet at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays, following the morning worship service and fellowship time.
Junior Church Children 12 and under are invited to attend Junior Church during the second half of the worship service. This gives them the opportunity to hear the gospel in ways they can more easily understand. APPLICATION FOR CHILDREN-YOUTH WORK
Men’s Bible Study Groups
Groups of men from the church are meeting in homes, at church, in restaurants … wherever they want! … to spend time together studying, talking and praying together.
Women’s Bible Study and Prayer Meetings
Women gather together on Tuesday mornings to study, visit and lift up each other, their families, their community and the church in prayer.
Saints Alive
A fellowship of senior adults who have special get togethers and outings, and sponsor events for the whole church.
Helping Hands
This service ministry focuses on helping those who are unable to do certain ”handyman” projects themselves. The group particularly reaches out to the elderly and widows.
Habitat for Humanity
We are working with the Polk County chapter of Habitat for Humanity to help serve others in the community.
Vacation Bible School
Every year, we join together with other local churches to provide a week-long summer Vacation Bible School for area children.
Wood Lake Bible Camp
We are a charter member church of Wood Lake Bible Camp in Grantsburg, WI.
Operation Christmas Child
Every year East Balsam takes part in Samaritan’s Purse’s Operation Christmas Child project, packing shoe boxes filled with toys, treats and toiletries for underprivileged children around the world.
Nursery
